Behind the scenes: Alice + Olivia Pre-Fall 2013

My last week as a marketing intern at Alice + Olivia ended with the photo shoot for the pre-fall 2013 lookbook, and the style.com shoot. Throughout my internship I have part taken in multiple photo shoots and this time I wanted to share some behind the scenes shots with you guys. Our model for this shoot was Georgiana Saraev - who we have used twice before. Enjoy guys!

My favorite two pieces are the black leather bustier dress above, and the red/black tribal blazer above as well. What pieces do you guys like?

Pre-Fall 2013

This year I'm loving the pre-fall 2013 trends, especially the leather (since I'm obsessed with leather), the color oxblood, trench coats, fur (love fur but, prefer faux fur), and those are just a few of the trends present in pre-fall 2013. Seeing all the designers collections on style.com, my top three favorite collections were Belstaff, Helmut Lang, and Narciso Rodriguez.

Belstaff - This collection had a polished and chic feel to it. There were multiple versions of trench coats throughout the collection, along with leather pants and leather accented pieces. Fur accented pieces also made part of the collection .

Helmut Lang -This collection was based on neutral tones, with leather accents and full-on leather pieces. Separates were also a big part of the collection, with blazers, skirts and drop waisted crop pants. This collection had a chic look to it along with an edgy effect.

Narciso Rodriguez -  The collection had a leather was accented as tops, dresses, and as details within the piece. Sheath dresses appeared multiple times, one of them in oxblood leather. Color-blocked designs, reversible dresses made an appearance as well. The collection has a polished look with touches of leather.

Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale

So yesterday November 12th was my first time ever attending a sample sale in my life! It was so exciting, and I was anxious all day. Both me and my friend went after our internship and finally got to the line after a few wrong turns - oops. Anyways, we waited for about 45 minutes and finally entered the sale and soon began searching for the perfect bag. Usually with my luck I can never find anything, but today was my lucky day because I found such a gorgeous bag! It was originally retailed at $695, but I ended up paying about $270. I honestly just love this bag, it definitely was worth it! This was my first, but certainly not my last sample sale!

Pamper Me Fabulous!

While searching Google for some NYC events, I came across the ultimate girl's day - Pamper Me Fabulous! Just the name alone makes me want to go. Well anyways this event is definitely a day to indulge yourself with friends in a total mind, body, and soul experience. The entire day is filled with energetic workouts, shopping, spa treatments, health and beauty. You can also indulge in some champagne, desserts, and receive a fabulous gift bag! Honestly, I don't think any girl would want to pass this up, because I sure wouldn't. So don't forget Sunday October 7th from 11am-5pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Plus what's also even better is that it's only $40 - so there is no reason why not to come!
Buy tickets here.

NYFW: Alice + Olivia SS13 Presentation

Monday September 10 was the Alice + Olivia S/S '13 Presentation, held at Center 548. The night was filled with music by Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. The bar was stocked by Belvedere Vodka, with signature Alice + Olivia drinks. Magnum mini ice cream, cake pops, and mini cupcakes were served as treats for the guests.

There were also some familiar faces spotted during the night. Lauren Conrad, Jamie Chung, Odette Annable, AnnaSophia Robb, Holland Roland, Elisabeth Moss, Natalia Kills, and Neon Hitch were just some of the few I saw.

The Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 collection was one of my favorites. There was so much detailing incorporated into each design - ranging from lace, sequins, embroidery, beading, and the actual color scheme. The gowns and dresses were to die for! I want them all, but my favorite one is the blue ombre gown below - it's just a gorgeous dress and I love the blue ombre color.

Daily skincare regimen

So today I am going to talk about my daily skincare regimen that I follow and that also works with my skin (which is combination skin - so not fun). Some of these products you may also notice from a post I did back in October about skincare; which means they are still my favorite and they work really well.

Now lets begin with my morning regimen. First, I use the St. Ives Green Tea Scrub (my absolute favorite) this scrub is my go to facewash because this scrub is gentle enough to use everyday and will dry you out. Second, I use the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Toner - which smells like cucumber melon, so good. Then lastly, I use the Clinique gel moisturizer.

As for the nighttime, I use the Bioré Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleaner - which works and feels amazing, because when you rub it onto your face the cleanser begins to warm; the warmth actually opens and cleans your pores of all the dirt. Second, I use the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Toner. Then lastly, I use the BeautyMint Resurfacing Treatment for any blemishes I have. Also, about once a week I use the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask, which removes dirt and impurities, and leaves a smoother, brighter complexion.

I hope you guys enjoy this post and find it useful. Also, try these products or at least some of them, because they honestly work amazing and leave your skin with a smooth and clean feeling.

comic-con 2012 fashion

Many gorgeous celebrities wore colorful shoes at this year's Comic Con in San Diego. Like at every event, there are always the celebrities that look gorgeous and the best dressed at the event; and then you have those celebrities that you think to yourself "what were they thinking." Well I personally like to forget those who did not look in the mirror before leaving their house; and remember the celebrites that are Comic Cons best dressed.

Nina Dobrev at a Comic Con after party wearing a gold sparkly Farah Khan minidress and colbolt blue peep-toe Brian Atwood pumps. This is my favorite look, she looks absolutely grogeous and the blue pumps with the gold dress is perfect.

Nina Dobrev on the Comic Con carpet wearing an embellished Jenny Packham red minidress and Jimmy Choo peep-toe booties. This dress is gorgeous with the extravagant beading all over the dress.

Lea Michele wore a textured Stella & Jamie short suit emsemble and red ankle-strap Nicholas Kirkwood platforms. She looks well dressed with the matching blazer and mini skirt and red platforms.

Kate Beckinsale wore black leather Rag & Bone leggings, Rag & Bone tuxedo jacket, Christian Louboutin ankle boots and a Tom Binns statement necklace.

Met Gala's Red Carpet

This past Monday night was the 2012 Met Gala; which is basically the Oscar's for fashion and one of the biggest nights in fashion. This years red carpet was filled with gorgeous dresses that you would die for - and I did. But there was a few that were just completely hideous, and will most likely end up on Fashion Police and be torn apart by Joan Rivers. Anyways, I'm not going to ramble on about the worst dressed, but I am going to show you guys some of the dresses I adored and loved. By the way, these dresses are in no particular order of likeness.

Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren

Gisele Bundchen in Givenchy

Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan
(I completely love Nina on Vampire Diaries! Just saying)

Jessica Alba in Michael Kors

Ashley Greene in Donna Karan

Gwyneth Paltrow in Prada

Solange Knowles in Rachel Roy

Spencer Hasting's Masquerade Dress

Tonight's episode of Pretty Little Liars was filled with romance, sadness, and the mystery and revealing of A. But more drama, lies, secrets, and the truth will be awaiting this summer. The truth and secrets of A have left us speechless and awaiting for the new season this summer!

Well besides the amazing spring finale, I am obsessed with Spencer's masquerade dress and collar necklace. This Free People dress is gorgeous with the mustard color, lace, black leather straps, and the flow of the dress. Collar necklaces are on trend this season and are perfect for any outfit;and this particular rhinestone collar necklace is from BCBG. But I have some bad news you guys, I searched online for the necklace and dress, but they're both sold out  :(

 Dress: Free People
Necklace: BCBG

outfit of the day...

(asos hi-low skirt, aldo suede ankle boots, asos bracelets, snake necklace from beacons closet)
So i know it isn't the clearest picture, but that's all I had at the moment. Anyways today was such a gorgeous day for the beginning of March. The temperature was about 65 degrees, considering we've been having temperatures in the 30s and 40s normally.
Anyways I received my new asos hi-low skirt in the mail yesterday and I had to wear it today. And I actually wore my leather jacket with this outfit, and pushed up the sleeves - so they would be 3/4 sleeves.
