Prabal Gurung for Target

In just one day is the release of the Prabal Gurung collection for Target! I honestly have been anticipating this day since I found out about the collaboration. The collection is full of floral's, colors and just an overall feeling of spring. The pricing for the collection is unbeatable; the entire collection is below $50 - are they serious?! The only exception is the leather jacket which is about $200. But who really cares? The rest of the collection is budget friendly!

All I know is that once Sunday morning comes, I will be heading straight to the closest Target to pick up some pieces and definitely a pair or two of shoes! Who doesn't love shoes?
Anyways, I wanted to show you guys some of my favorite pieces from the collection. What do you guys think? Out of the collection which pieces do you like?

Behind the scenes: Alice + Olivia Pre-Fall 2013

My last week as a marketing intern at Alice + Olivia ended with the photo shoot for the pre-fall 2013 lookbook, and the style.com shoot. Throughout my internship I have part taken in multiple photo shoots and this time I wanted to share some behind the scenes shots with you guys. Our model for this shoot was Georgiana Saraev - who we have used twice before. Enjoy guys!

My favorite two pieces are the black leather bustier dress above, and the red/black tribal blazer above as well. What pieces do you guys like?

Pre-Fall 2013

This year I'm loving the pre-fall 2013 trends, especially the leather (since I'm obsessed with leather), the color oxblood, trench coats, fur (love fur but, prefer faux fur), and those are just a few of the trends present in pre-fall 2013. Seeing all the designers collections on style.com, my top three favorite collections were Belstaff, Helmut Lang, and Narciso Rodriguez.

Belstaff - This collection had a polished and chic feel to it. There were multiple versions of trench coats throughout the collection, along with leather pants and leather accented pieces. Fur accented pieces also made part of the collection .

Helmut Lang -This collection was based on neutral tones, with leather accents and full-on leather pieces. Separates were also a big part of the collection, with blazers, skirts and drop waisted crop pants. This collection had a chic look to it along with an edgy effect.

Narciso Rodriguez -  The collection had a leather was accented as tops, dresses, and as details within the piece. Sheath dresses appeared multiple times, one of them in oxblood leather. Color-blocked designs, reversible dresses made an appearance as well. The collection has a polished look with touches of leather.

Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale

So yesterday November 12th was my first time ever attending a sample sale in my life! It was so exciting, and I was anxious all day. Both me and my friend went after our internship and finally got to the line after a few wrong turns - oops. Anyways, we waited for about 45 minutes and finally entered the sale and soon began searching for the perfect bag. Usually with my luck I can never find anything, but today was my lucky day because I found such a gorgeous bag! It was originally retailed at $695, but I ended up paying about $270. I honestly just love this bag, it definitely was worth it! This was my first, but certainly not my last sample sale!

NYFW: Alice + Olivia SS13 Presentation

Monday September 10 was the Alice + Olivia S/S '13 Presentation, held at Center 548. The night was filled with music by Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. The bar was stocked by Belvedere Vodka, with signature Alice + Olivia drinks. Magnum mini ice cream, cake pops, and mini cupcakes were served as treats for the guests.

There were also some familiar faces spotted during the night. Lauren Conrad, Jamie Chung, Odette Annable, AnnaSophia Robb, Holland Roland, Elisabeth Moss, Natalia Kills, and Neon Hitch were just some of the few I saw.

The Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 collection was one of my favorites. There was so much detailing incorporated into each design - ranging from lace, sequins, embroidery, beading, and the actual color scheme. The gowns and dresses were to die for! I want them all, but my favorite one is the blue ombre gown below - it's just a gorgeous dress and I love the blue ombre color.

comic-con 2012 fashion

Many gorgeous celebrities wore colorful shoes at this year's Comic Con in San Diego. Like at every event, there are always the celebrities that look gorgeous and the best dressed at the event; and then you have those celebrities that you think to yourself "what were they thinking." Well I personally like to forget those who did not look in the mirror before leaving their house; and remember the celebrites that are Comic Cons best dressed.

Nina Dobrev at a Comic Con after party wearing a gold sparkly Farah Khan minidress and colbolt blue peep-toe Brian Atwood pumps. This is my favorite look, she looks absolutely grogeous and the blue pumps with the gold dress is perfect.

Nina Dobrev on the Comic Con carpet wearing an embellished Jenny Packham red minidress and Jimmy Choo peep-toe booties. This dress is gorgeous with the extravagant beading all over the dress.

Lea Michele wore a textured Stella & Jamie short suit emsemble and red ankle-strap Nicholas Kirkwood platforms. She looks well dressed with the matching blazer and mini skirt and red platforms.

Kate Beckinsale wore black leather Rag & Bone leggings, Rag & Bone tuxedo jacket, Christian Louboutin ankle boots and a Tom Binns statement necklace.

Alexander McQueen Exhibit

These are just some of my favorite pieces from McQueens collection. I went the last day of the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the MET with my boyfriend. We waited about 2 hours on line inside the museum. However, if I did not buy the tickets in advance we would have been down the block from the MET - since the line was that long, and it probably would have taken more than 4 hours.
